St.Francis of Assisi Prayer

主啊！使我做祢和平之子，
 Lord,make me an instrument of your peace,
在憎恨之處播下祢的愛，
where there is hatred,let me sow love;
在傷痕之處播下祢寬恕，
where there is injury,pardon;
在疑慮之處播下信心；
where there is doubt,faith;
在絕望之處播下祢盼望，
where there is despair,hope;
在幽暗之處播下祢光明，
where there is darkness,light;
在憂愁之處播下歡愉。
where there is sddness,joy

喔！主啊，使我少為自己求，
 O Divine Master,grant that I may not so much seek
少求受安慰，但求安慰人；
to be consoled as to console; 
少求被了解，但求了解人；
to be understood as to understand;
少求愛，但求全心付出愛。
to be loved as to love.

因為在捨去時，我們便有所得，
 For it is giving that we receive;
在赦免時，我們便蒙赦免，
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
迎接死亡時，我們便進入永生。
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
