For the past week or so, one of Ngee Ann Poly s graduation ceremonies became the hottest topic on the internet.
An emcee mispronounced an Indian student s name and it seriously sounded like vulgarity (knn).
First thing first, I really pity the guy whose name was mispronounced.
It s not something to laugh about over and over again.
Although it s the emcee s fault, he did apologize on the spot.
Just that it s also a fact that the mistake is made.
This could ve been just one of the stupidest mistake made and could ve been forgotten just like that.
But some idiot had to put on the video onto youtube and showcase this very mistake to everyone.
And guess what?
Another idiot(s) created a facebook group named "Son of Ganesan should get a formal apology".
And there are people on facebook demanding the emcee should go to the extent of apologizing via the press.
What else?
Make the poor emcee go on his knees and beg for forgiveness?
Hello people, you guys have selective hearing is it?
All you hear is the mistake and not the word "sorry"?
It s simply unbelievable how childish people can get.
How childish people from the school I just graduated from can get~
