NO.1 DJ Armin van Buuren 阿曼凡布倫 連續4年 百大DJ 第1名

The votes have been counted and the results are in. The DJ Mag Top 100 list of 2010 is officially announced. And it has some good news in it. For the 4th year running, Armin van Buuren is the number 1 DJ, and thus prolongs his title as ‘Most popular DJ in the world’! As the first DJ in the history of the DJ Mag, the Dutch DJ is now the number 1 DJ for 4 years in a row.

Armin has had a great year so far, not only releasing his A State of Trance 2010 compilation, but also reaching the milestone of his fourth artist album, ‘Mirage’. Fans best be prepared for the Armin Only 2010 – Mirage worldtour, with shows in at least 15 cities across 5 different continents and the kick off in the sold-out Jaarbeurs venue in Utrecht on November 13th! Armin would love to thank you all for the continuous support and for casting your vote in the DJ Mag.

Markus Schulz holds on to #8 in the DJ Mag Top 100!

It’s been three years of securing the 8th position in the annual DJ Mag Top 100 poll, 36 months of producing one high quality release after another, 156 weeks of touring the world and 1.095 days of living and loving the very best sounds in between trance and progressive. Markus Schulz is, without a doubt, one of the biggest names in electronic music of the moment. When having a look on the previous months, it pretty much explains why.

It weren’t only his singles ‘Dark Heart Waiting’, ‘Perception’ and ‘Rain’, which cast a spell on the global dance scene. First and foremost, Markus’ third artist album ‘Do You Dream?’, which came along as a masterful start-to-finish audio experience in mid-2010, put his fans into a frenzy. Only a short moment later, Markus reached another significant milestone in his career – the 100th release of his very own Coldharbour label.

As one of the most popular DJ’s worldwide, he’s been busy touring the globe and rock crowds at the biggest festivals, clubs and events the dance scene has to offer. Dash Berlin makes highest new entry in DJ Mag Top 100!

It all started in 2007, with a special track hitting the global speakers. Since his ‘Till The Sky Falls Down’ was released, Jeffrey Sutorius – better known as Dash Berlin – hasn’t looked back. Dash Berlin became an inevitable and beloved part of the global trance scene. Need proof? Dash Berlin is this year’s highest new entry of the DJ Mag Top 100 poll, kicking in at number 15.

The highly anticipated debut album, ‘The New Daylight’, set forth the successful singles ‘Waiting’, ‘Never Cry Again’ and ‘Janeiro’, future trance classics in beat and melody. ‘Waiting’, featuring Emma Hewitt, even received the International Dance Music Award for ‘Best Hi NRG/Euro Track’. But that wasn’t all, for Jeff also indulged his listeners with his mixing skills, as heard on the ‘United Destination 2010′ compilation.

His very own Aropa imprint is still going strong, the productions keep on coming and the tours keep expanding with more dates within even more countries and continents.  Dash Berlin rocked Poland’s edition of Sensation White, A State of Trance 450 and sold out events in Mexico – to name but a few of his DJ highlights. Aly Fila enter the Top 20 of DJ Mag Top 100 Poll!

In 2008, they secured the 31st position. One year later, the duo climbed up to the 22nd spot, to now officially take in the 20th position in the DJ Mag Top 100 of 2010. Egyptian duo Aly Fila has been using their sixth sense for heartfelt melodies and contagious trance more than well…

In January 2010, their Future Sound Of Egypt label joined Armada Music. After this first milestone, the second one didn’t keep them waiting very long. Only three months later, Aly Fila’s debut album ‘Rising Sun’, featuring singles ‘My Mind Is With You’, ‘Listening’ and ‘I Can Hear You’, was released. The result? A rise in popularity at the speed of sound.

Outside the studio, Aly Fila became known for their all round appeal to the global audiences. Dance like an Egyptian became a welcome feel-good virus and now resulted in their Top 20 position in the DJ Mag Top 100. Armada Music would like to congratulate Fadi and Aly!
