有一位單身女子剛搬了家


她發現隔壁住了一户窮人家


一個寡婦與兩個小孩子



有天晚上


那一帶忽然停了電


那位女子只好自己點起了蠟燭


没一會兒忽然聽到有人敲門



原來是隔壁鄰居的小孩子

竟從懷裡拿出兩根蠟燭


說：媽媽和我怕你一個人住


又没有蠟蠋，所以我带兩根來送你。


此刻女子自責


感動得熱淚盈眶，將那小孩子緊緊地抱在懷裡

人不分貴賤


只要有心幫助別人



必會換得別人的感動



富有的人 如果吝於付出


擁有再多金錢



只能滿足物欲的享受



無法得到心靈的滿足



反之貧困的人



樂於付出


雖然沒有多餘金錢



卻能安於天命 不忮不求
