Today, the hospital perform a cleansing of her liver. Due to the swelling of her arms, the doctor is not able to continue to poke needles through her arms, so they are now injecting the soft needle through her inner thighs. Both of grandmother's arms look like a water balloon Literally, when you touch her arms/her back, it feels like your are touching a water balloon that's about to pop. One slightly good news is that grandmother appears to be able to breathe on her own. She does not seem to be as dependent on the breathing machine. Although grandmother is capable of breathing on her own, the nurse was not very hopeful that she will wake up... so I think it looks like she'll remain unconscious and be in a coma. Per dad, grandmother's mouth moved slightly. Dad was talking to grandmother and said that grandmother's mouth moved slightly. Whether or not the slight movement of her mouth was really a response to father's calling, we are not sure... maybe it is, maybe not... some people say that if the digestive system is not capable of retainning water when injected (ie. if it just comes staight out in the original form), it is a really bad sign showing as if that body part shutting down.
