《火箭人》（Rocketman）是艾爾頓強（Elton John）本人親自監製的本人傳紀電影，由英國男星泰隆艾格頓飾演。本片描述他從英國皇家音樂學院的年少時期一直到成為流行音樂的天王的過程，除了音樂事業的成功外，也刻畫著他荒唐百無禁忌的一面，包括酒癮、毒癮、性癮症及暴食等。本片不但收錄了艾爾頓強多首的金曲，而且男主角泰隆艾格頓還親聲詮釋〈Your Song〉、〈Saturday Night`s Alright（For Fighting）〉、〈Tiny Dancer〉等歌曲，還堡括他為電影特別製作新曲〈（I’m Gonna） Love Me Again〉。

艾爾頓是美國音樂雜誌《告示牌》認定「史上最成功的藝人」之一。在50年的音樂生涯中，銷售超過3億張唱片。1994年被列入「搖滾名人殿堂」，1998年因「對音樂與慈善傑出貢獻」獲得英國女王伊莉莎白二世頒發「皇家嘉許」， 2001年獲得葛萊美「終身傳奇獎」的肯定。艾爾頓希望《火箭人》不必過於描述他的成就，而是盡量呈現他真實生活的一面。
