根據美聯社報導，美國太空總署NASA星期一（二月四日）朝著北極星在外太空裡放送披頭四的名曲《Across the Universe》，這是美國太空總署第一次在太陽系以外的外太空放送“地球人”的歌曲，此舉同時也是慶祝《Across the Universe》發行四十週年以及美國太空總署成立五十週年的活動之一。
