You didn t have to see the Sports Illustrated covers or the Volvo endorsement deal to know that Jeremy Lin was a major media force this year. But how much of the country s consciousness can one former D-League point guard consume?
As it turns out, quite a bit.
Time Magazine has named Jeremy Lin to its annual list of "The 100 Most Influential People in the World." Along with fellow Big Apple sensation Tim Tebow—another well-known Christian—Lin was featured with such notable politicians as Benjamin Netanyahu, Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton as well as businessman Warren Buffett and comedians Stephen Colbert and Louis CK.
