SketchUp

今天其實沒啥事做   Hisashi 丟了一本書給Ming  要Ming學一學最近公司新灌的電腦軟體 "SketchUp"   這是一套3D的繪圖軟體  但是跟一般正規的3D軟體比起來  這軟體便顯得很小兒科  很不專業  但是對從事設計初期的工作的Ming 來說  這軟體是一套很方便的工具  只是一本厚厚的說明書  才翻開第一頁  Ming就開始頭痛了…….

Hisashi: ” Ming, I know you don’t have anything to do today, but I got you a mission…..”Try to figure out how to use this program….””
Ming: ” gesus…man it might take me 2 months to read through all these introduction…!!!
Hisashi: ” I am sorry Ming….you got 2 days only….. you have to know how to use it by the end of tomorrow….”

300 多頁的指令教學  說實在的 Ming看了不到1/3  真的不是唸書的料  看得真是頭昏腦脹……於是呢  Ming 變索性在電腦裡”亂”玩這套軟體  希望可以從中獲的一些基本的概念  這大概是唸建築唯一的好處  總是可以看圖說故事  經過了一個早上的摸索  果然是很沒有效率   竟然沒有摸索出任何一個指令的使用方式  Ming 即時的宣告放棄  吃飯去吧………

10 Secs Issue

吃飯的時候一值在想如何有效率的學習  結論是  乖乖看書吧…..@@  午餐過後 很無奈的拿出那厚達300多頁的教學手冊  從頭開始K吧 …  最痛苦的事情莫過於  吃完飯後要看那英文書  此時Ming的上下眼皮彼此的吸引力發揮到了極至  在半夢半醒之間  坐在前方的Mark 突然走到Ming的座位旁  丟了一張圖在Ming 桌上……

Mark: ”Ming, I know you are really bored of reading through all the instruction…. How about get a rest and do me a favor  ?? “
Ming: ”Sure….. What can I do for you????”
Mark: ” I have been thinking this unit plan all day long this morning… I just cant work it out….can you give it a shot??? It is a 1-bed room unit type at this corner….”
Ming: ” Let me see…… ……. Ok…it is impossible to work it out dude….”
Mark: ” oh….come on…..dont say that in 10 seconds………there is nothing impossible… there must have some way to work it out….man”
Ming: ” I am sorry man…..but there is no way to work it out….if you want to make the plan work you have to change the shape or change the unit type…. This plan just doesn’t work……”
Mark: ” …………Why ………tell me why it doesn’t work???”
Ming: ” Alright…. A 1-bed room unit needs to have 24 foot opening at least, but this corner just has 16 foot or 18 goot the maximum how can u work it out?? It is impossible to have a second window, man ...That’s why I said there is NO FUCKING WAY…”

這時的馬克先生還是不相信Ming的話  回到座位上後依舊還是不死心的想要解決那個不可能的任務   大概又過了一個小時  馬克先生又走到Ming的座位……….

Mark: ” Ming….you are god damn right……it is not going to work….”
Ming: ” Of course…..i told you  there is no fucking way….”

美國人就是笨  花了5小時做一件事情後才決定去修改它  在Ming的眼裡  這件是應該10秒鐘就要被決定的事情了……. 









老闆~~~記得下個月要幫Ming多加點薪水  Ming 可是可以幫你的笨蛋員工省很多時間的……..
