I cannot agree with extrapolation based on partial quotations from some statement of certain scientist, when it is used to prove philosophical righteousness and application. Many scientists can form various and sometimes contradicting conclusions based on their findings, yet only awaiting to be disproved at a later time. Thus, can philosophical guidance on the proper values and ways of life bring true happiness to us? I guess no one can really tell.
Me and a good old friend were discussing about this moment of being "alive". How that feeling of everything in life is worth it for this exact moment and how achieving what one values the most in life when it has been determined. Some people might not know what that is yet because they do not know their way to true happiness. Is there really a rule or guidance to follow? "It is not static, but maybe with some basis on biological rationales.", he said. I think otherwise, eventhough it is dangerous to think of any legal laws to stay the same; perhaps I am hopeful. Dispite the dangerous thought of mine, I guess it is just a hope to solve a problem that is out of ones ability. Moreover, it may turn back to haunt us. Empathy is for everyone but not everyone have empathy to please others.
I can kind of see why there is not really a science of love, because love could lose its value with it.
Alive or not; real or not; true or not; to be or not; love or not--it is life.
Today, I jumped!
I was anxious as always, even more so, yet the faith in my determination and understanding made me land in safety.[;-)]
Be it a milestone for self encouragement and for life! [:*] DO what you think is RIGHT, so it is ONLY ONCE in a LIFETIME.
Coincidence is to find someone who has similar issue, yet mine is not so bad because I was not so determined to follow through but to put up with it. Conflicts within a family is hard to deal with when it gets to the core value and identity. Tradition and knowledge.
